Terms and Conditions:

Participants agree to be available for the dates and times of tournament matches. In the unfortunate event of weather cancellation, new times will be determined.

An entry fee is $25 per player/club member; $40 per player/non-member and a can of tennis balls per team. Entry fees must be paid at the start of tournament matches.  A minimum of 6 teams is needed for the tournament to be held.  A maximum of 16 entries will be imposed.

Note that there is no entry fee for the parent/grandparent tournament although each team must provide a can of tennis balls.

We can find a partner if needed. An individual may sign-up for a doubles tournament and ask to be paired with a partner! Our tournament director, sponsor or pros will look to locate a player for you to team with!

Tournament entries are capped at 16 doubles teams or 16 singles participants.

In general, the tournament format is best of 3 sets with a 3rd set played as a 10-point tiebreak when needed.  The final (championship match) will be played as best of 3 sets. Players should be prepared to possibly play two matches each day and one on the day of the finals; all weather contingent.

Note that the format for the Parent/Grandparent-Child Tournament is a round-robin of four games per match with the finals played as best of three sets.

A Tournament Director is assigned for each tournament.  The tournament director is responsible for seeding, making the draw, and overseeing the running of the tournament.  Any disputes will be settled by the tournament director and who may refer to USTA Friend at Court rules of tennis.  If the tournament director cannot resolve the situation, it will be referred to the Tournament Committee Chairperson and Committee Members.

Prizes – of course!  Finalists receive a celebratory gift to recognize their on-court achievement!

Tournament Committee: Samantha Speer, Laura White, Cy Cummings and Wendy Anders Hoffman (Chair)
